Alejandro Chiappe is Advisory Services and Public Sector Partner at Grant Thornton Argentina. He is a Certified Public Accountant graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) and holds a diploma in Digital Forensic Investigation. He also has a certification in CISA, CRISC and PM4R.
He was an Audit Professor at Universidad de Palermo (UP) and Accounting Professor at Universidad del Salvador (USAL).
Alejandro has more than 40 year of professional experience, both local and international. He is the Partner in charge of the Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) and Forensic practice at Grant Thornton Argentina.
He has been involved in international assignments for Public Sector auditing, leading projects executed by governmental departments, financiered by the Government and international credit entities (BID, BM, PNUD, UNOPS, CAF, EU and others), both in Argentina and in other countries in the region.
Alejandro also has vast experience in business diagnosis services, process improvements, reengineering, evaluation of administration circuits and Internal Control (COSO methodology), SOX projects, TAS and forensic services.
Before joining Grant Thornton Argentina in 2001, Alejandro worked for 20 years in the Audit and Advisory divisions of a Big Four firm, providing services to international companies headquartered in United States, Canada and Europe.
