Qualifications

Carlos Boguseski is IT Advisory Supervisor in BRS – Financial Services’ division. He studied Informatic System at Universidad Nacional de La Matanza (UNLaM) and is finishing the international certification in CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control, ISACA).

Experience

Carlos has more than 15 years of experience in IT Risk, IT Audit and Information System Security. In his role as Supervisor, Carlos leads the teams that brings risk and compliance solutions based in international standards; organizes, plans and coordinates the advisory work; and is responsible of the risk evaluation for the financial clients.

He specialises in information systems services and gained it’s experience thanks to his participation in different internal audits in financial companies. Same of Carlos’ most important tasks are:

Revision of the design of controls and detection of improvement opportunities in IT process.
Development of methodologies for IT risk analysis and controlling. Monitoring design and implementation.
IT Audit: planification, execution and supervision of financial audits, identifying risks and associated controls in order to get discoveries that can reasonably impact in the financial states.
IT Advisory: Gap Analysis, capability maturity models, implementation of solutions in IT process applying NIST, ITIL4, PCI DSS, Cobit, ISO 27001/ 27032, ISO 25012. ISO 27018 and ISO 38500 methodologies.
