Elizabeth del Busto is Manager of Advisory Services at Grant Thornton Argentina. She is a Certified Public Accountant graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) and holds a postgraduate degree in Business Valuation at the Universidad del CEMA (UCEMA).
She was Accounting Theory professor at the UBA for eight years and visiting professor at the Advisory Lecture of the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE), of which the Firm is an academic partner.
Elizabeth is a member of the Professional Council in Economic Sciences of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CPCECABA) and has taken various training courses given by it.
Elizabeth has more than 15 years of professional experience. She is a specialist in external financial audits for Government Programs financed by Multilateral Credit Organizations such as BID, CAF, BIRF, PNUD, OFID and others.
She has been involved in assignments for business diagnosis, including financial evaluation and internal process control (COSO), evaluation of processes and controls improvement under SOX modality, business valuation, due diligence, corporate finance, forensic (including under FCPA regulations), administrative support in adjustment for inflation, annual audit plan preparation based on risk analysis by area or business unit, special review and assistance on documentary support and basis for Financial Statements preparation.
Elizabeth has vast experience leading projects executed by government agencies, financed by the Government and international credit entities and supervising special forensic and technical audit projects.
