Javier Lazcano is Tax Partner at Grant Thornton Argentina. He is a Certified Public Accountant graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA).
He is Assistant Professor of “Tax II” lecture at Universidad de Buenos Aires and gives training courses on ‘Tax Updates’ and ‘Training of New Professionals’ at the Buenos Aires City Professional Council of Economic Sciences of Buenos Aires City (CPCECABA) and at the UBA.
Javier has attended various in-company courses provided by Grant Thornton International, such as Bilateral Treaties (Perú), Tax Accounting (Puerto Rico) and Expatriates -Levels I, II and III- (Panamá). He also has a certification in English from the Education First Institute (EF) having attended a six-month training course in Boston, US in 2008.
Javier has more than 25 years of professional experience developed at Grant Thornton and other international firms. He is part of Grant Thornton Argentina since 2003 and Tax Partner since 2020.
He is the partner in charge of the firm’s Expats practice.
He has been involved in tax assignments for clients from several industries such as agriculture, telecommunications, consumer goods and forwarders.
