Grant Thornton will not intentionally disclose to third parties without your prior consent (and will take commercially reasonable steps to prevent accidental disclosure) any personally identifiable information you may provide to us through your visit to this site, subject to the following exceptions: (i) Grant Thornton may disclose your personally identifiable information to third parties as required or permitted by applicable laws, rules and regulations; (ii) Grant Thornton may disclose your contact information in response to bona fide inquiries from owners regarding allegations of copyright infringement or other proprietary rights arising from information you have provided through this site or elsewhere to Grant Thornton; and (iii) if Grant Thornton (and/or one or more of its affiliates) merges with or sells all or substantially all of its assets to a third party, information collected about you on this website may be disclosed to that third party.

Access to information

Clients and suppliers related to the firm who need a copy of their information, update their details, or unsubscribe from receiving news should contact the webmaster by visiting the "personal data access" page. In all cases, we will process requests to access or amend information in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

In this regard, in compliance with Law 25,326 and the provisions issued by the Dirección Nacional de Protección de Datos Personales (National Directorate for the Protection of Personal Data):

  • Grant Thornton maintains a database of the company's clients and suppliers registered with the Dirección Nacional de Protección de Datos Personales.
  • You have the right to access your personal data free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest to do so is demonstrated in accordance with Article 14, Section 3 of Law 25,326. You have the right to have your personal data rectified, updated, and, where appropriate, deleted or made confidential from the Database (Article 16 of Law 25,326).
  • You may at any time request the removal or blocking of your name and/or other personal data from our personal database.
  • The Dirección Nacional de Protección de Datos Personales, the Supervisory Body of Law No. 25,326, is responsible for addressing complaints and claims filed regarding non-compliance with the regulations on the protection of personal data (Art. 2 of provision 10/08 of the Dirección Nacional de Protección de Datos Personales).
