Qualifications

Diego Sebastián Ijelchuk is BRS – Financial Services Manager at Grant Thornton Argentina. He has a bachelor’s degree in Public Accountancy from the Universidad de Belgrano (UB).

Diego has taken courses in International Auditing Standards (NIA), SQL and the use of data analysis software and has been part of the training program for managers.

Experience

Diego has been part of Grant Thornton Argentina since 2013, when he joined as BRS Junior and thanks to his good performance, in 2018 he was promoted to Senior and in 2022 to Manager. He has vast experience in external audit in financial entities, regulatory compliance and internal control of settlements and comprehensive clearing agents.

Some of Diego’s most relevant clients at Grant Thornton are Banco Rioja, Cambio DAVSA, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Merrill Lynch, Bank of America – Oficina de representación, Pierce, Fenner & Smith de Argentina, Scania Credit Argentina, Fidecomiso Financiero y Fideicomisos de Administración.
