Qualifications

Sergio Verón is Business Process Solutions (BPS) Partner at Grant Thornton. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Nacional de Luján (UNLu).

He is an instructor in trainings courses on Direct Taxes applicable to companies and individuals, both in-company and for clients.

Sergio is member of the Professional Council in Economic Sciences of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CPCECABA).

Experience

Sergio has more than 25 years of professional experience, both local and international. The latter includes his participations in the Quality Review of member firms programme for Latin America of Grant Thornton International Ltd.

He has been involved in assignments for multinational clients in matters of direct and indirect taxes, indirect tax recovery and due diligence processes. Sergio has vast experience working with private companies of various industries, such as Fast-Moving Consumer Goods, Foods and Beverages, Hospitality, among others.

Sergio has been working at Grant Thornton Argentina for more than 20 years. Before becoming BPS Partner, he was Manager and Partner of our firm’s Tax division.
