Néstor Jusid

Qualifications

Néstor Jusid is member of the Quality Monitoring Group of Grant Thornton International, where gives support to each one of the member firms. He is a Certified Public Accountant graduated from the Universidad Nacional de Lomas de Zamora (UNLZ), has an MBA from the Centro de Estudios Macroeconómicos de Argentina (UCEMA) and a certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from the Association for Supply Chain Management (APICS).

Néstor has given presentations about audit in public and privates Universities and courses about commercial financing at the UCEMA. He has led courses, capacitation and seminaries for the Grant Thornton network.

Experience

Néstor has more than 40 years of professional experience, both local and international. The latter includes his year at Grant Thornton Chile and his two years in the Miami, Florida offices of Grant Thornton LLP (US), where he was part of the creation of the first Mercosur school, with the General Consulate of Argentina in Florida. 

For 18 years, Néstor was Director of the International Business Centre (IBC) of Buenos Aires, working with an international team of specialist. Néstor wrote a guidance of how to make business in Argentina and helped with the launch of subsidiaries of international companies in Argentina, assisting the investors with the due diligence for the acquisition of local operations. He also assisted transnational clients with compliance of local transfer pricing regulations.

At the regional level, Néstor represents Grant Thornton Argentina providing solutions to international clients. He has extensive experience working with Grant Thornton’s member firms in the region.

Néstor is member of the Audit Policy Committee for the Americas of Grant Thornton International since 1995, and of the Buenos Aires City Economic Sciences Professional Council (CPCECABA).
