Sergio has over 20 years of experience in the financial and exchange sector. In his role as Partner at Grant Thornton Argentina, he is responsible for the External Audit department for financial entities, trust funds and businesses. In addition, he is part of various Audit Committees and the head of Outsourcing area in Internal audit for financial entities and insurance companies..
He worked for the Banco de Santiago del Estero, Nuevo Banco de La Rioja, Banco BICA, Banco de Tierra del Fuego, Casa de Cambio Los Tilos, Credipaz, Merrill Lynch, Credit Agricole, Banco BICE, CAMMESA, Empresa de Energía Eléctrica de Santiago del Estero, Toyota Argentina, Fiat Crédito, Deutsche Bank, I.C.B.C., Banco Municipal de Rosario y Banco del Chubut, among others.
As a consultant in an international level, Sergio took part in the Consultancy for the establishment and organizational design of the Trust Fund for Bank Capitalization in Guatemala, preparing its Mission and Functions Manual, Procedures Manual, Operating Regulations; in the Consultancy for the Resolution of Banks in Crisis in Paraguay, where he was hired as an expert by the International Monetary Fund (IMF); and in the Consultancy for the development of Administrative and Financial Risk Management Tools for the saving and credit cooperatives in Honduras, among others.
Previously he worked as budget head, making the annual budgeting. He also participated in investment projects with BIRF loans for the Dirección Provincial de Obras Sanitarias and made different audits and controls in ministries and departments of Santa Fe Province.
