After more than 35 years of uninterrupted service, and in accordance with the statutory timeframes, Fernando Fucci will be retiring from the Firm on 31 December 2026. In this context, he will step down from his role as Managing Partner of Grant Thornton Argentina on September 30, 2026.
Fernando spent a significant part of his professional career in the Tax division, an area he led while also carrying out responsibilities across the region, before being appointed Managing Partner of Argentina. Throughout his career, Fernando has always stood out not only for his outstanding professional capabilities, but also for his personal and human qualities, and he leaves the Firm in a very strong position to meet the challenges that the market and our clients will undoubtedly demand of us.
While Fernando will retire as an active partner at the end of 2026, he will continue to support the firm on selected projects and remain closely connected to the organisation.
We are pleased to announce that Leonardo Fraga will be the new Managing Partner of Argentina from October 1, 2026.
Leonardo is a Certified Public Accountant, graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA). He has more than 30 years of experience within the Firm, serving major clients, both multinational companies and businesses in the entrepreneurial segment. He is currently Assurance Leader at Grant Thornton Argentina.
